He has experience in all levels of sustainable design provision from small commercial projects to 300+ house master-planning schemes; all delivered with design excellence Since joining CMA in 2010 Ian has revitalised and refreshed the design output from this practice. His experience from other firms and a longstanding commitment to the highest architectural standards has allowed him to develop some of the most efficient plans and site layouts that we have seen. He understands the fine balance of sustainable design between high architectural style and common-sense affordability.
In addition to sustainable affordable Housing design, Ian has significant experience in the delivery of private housing, commercial and health care projects, community development projects, urban design and is able to call on extensive design, detailing and project management knowledge. Experienced in leading project Design Teams through traditional and D&B contracts with responsibilities for designing, detailing and obtaining statutory consents for several major multi-discipline projects.
