Following a design competition Campbell and Morris Associates were appointed for 2 phases of housing at Glenshellach, Oban by West Highland Housing Association.
The first phase of houses includes 44 houses and flats all designed on the lifetime homes principle.
The second phase of houses and flats includes 46 units.
Houses benefit from solar sunspaces and all are supplied with underfloor heating from a biomass waste wood common boiler.
The specification to houses includes clay roof tiles, aluminium gutters and downpipes, facing blockwork, render and cedar boarding all with minimal maintenance implications.
