AB Hamilton Homes Ltd commissioned Campbell and Morris Associates for 156 flats on a prominent position overlooking the Forth and Clyde canal in Glasgow. The flats are 4, 5 and 6 storeys high with a landscaped deck and utilise traditional, and timber frame construction.
The development is for 1, 2, and 3 bedroom flats with those on Murano Street benefitting from undercover car parking with external amenity provided by a landscaped deck.
The flats onto the canal have large glazing areas to benefit from passive solar gain and to enjoy extended views over Glasgow.
The first phase is due for completion in the Autumn of 2005 with further phases in 2006 and 2007.
