The Old Schoolhouse on Sraid na Sgoile, School St had been in a poor state of repair for some time prior to our appointment. Sitting majestically overlooking Kilnaughton Bay it had a commanding presence. Our brief was to restore this building and add a sympathetic extension to the rear where an old washhouse had been placed. The extension was also to provide a separate living quarters/ self-catering to the main house that could be let for short stays.
The works are currently at warrant stage and a contractor has now been appointed to begin the works for completion in early 2026.
